My name is Emma Sayle, and my pronouns are she/her. I am from Prince George, British Columbia! I love reading and creating visual art. My educational background is composed of studying general arts at the University of Northern BC. Throughout I studied classic literature, history, and a variety of science classes. Now, I am working towards a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Years. I have tutored for 3 years with children aged 3 to 18, in both math and reading! Additionally, I worked as a science camp councillor and coordinator throughout the summers.
I have been playing the violin since I was in kindergarten, and had the opportunity to play alongside the local symphony, PGSO. The most influential experience I had growing up was learning to sail, it allowed me to develop a life-long love of adventure and respect for nature.
I have wanted to be an elementary school teacher since I was very young. I used to help my mother in her classroom, setting up bulletin boards, rearranging desks, and reading every book she had in the classroom.
