Students were each given 3 sticky notes – one for KNOW, WONDER and finally LEARN.

The beginning of the lesson students were asked – what do you know about Residential Schools? The responses blew me away. These students went beyond and responded respectfully and with a lot of thought.

This activity showed my own growth as well as the students ability to gauge their interest – What do they already know? What do they wonder? What have they learned?
