This poem is a reflection on our learning from Block 1, which is the first entire semester of the BEd at UNBC. Through the use of poetry, we were able to represent feelings and learning in a metaphorical way, rather than concrete. The importance of this is that it can be interpreted through the eyes of different students to have personal meaning rather than fixed. The second part of this poem is the natural aspect – we chose a tree to represent our feelings as it is ever-growing, ever-evolving, as our learning has been and will continue to be.
